Above Guidelines Increases are not a new occurrence in our complex. Every year, the Provincial government sets a legal percent that landlords can raise the rent. If a landlord wants to raise the rent more than that amount, they have to apply for an Above Guideline Increase. As of 2025, we are currently facing TWO "Above Guideline Increases" for capital expenditures.
